Note to prospective students

As all our colleagues in the ETH, the Chair of Seismic Design and Analysis receives several unsolicited applications from prospective PhD students and postdocs per day. Thank you.

Many candidates are excellent, but we have limited funding (that does not come in a continuous manner) and limited space. We usually have a brief look at the applications, but it is practically impossible to respond to each applicant. So, we are happy to receive such applications, if and when there are funding opportunities we will let you know, but please do not get discouraged, if we do not respond to your email.
